The Chantily Lane is an historic home and has been referred to "the yellow house which used to sit out in the middle of the cactus field on Post Road". Built in the early 1900's the family sold the land and moved the house to its' present location. It now sits among 15 acres of Texas Live Oaks in a private country location on Post Road between San Marcos and Kyle. Sitting on the front porch and gazing at the stars, gives one the feeling of 'alone with the land'; however, San Marcos is 5 miles south and Kyle is 7 miles north along Post Road.
Our love for antiques and architecture made it seem easy to fill Chantily Lane with priceless treasures that seem like they have always been there. Our chef's flair for cuisine satisfies any need that you may have including a romantic meal for two, homemade Family Italian dinners, or a simple but indulgent breakfast filled with fresh scones, muffins and sweet butters.
